Worked out with Nick and Jake on a Sunday. Felt really determined to show those wall balls who the fuck was boss. Didn’t really turn out that way but I felt a lot better about them at the end of the day. Jake helped out a lot. He helped me realized where I caught the wall ball actually made a big difference.
The boys worked me into their bench set. Hadn’t benched for 3+ years, and even then, it was at L.A. Fitness by myself and I’m sure I didn’t push myself all that much. I had a vague recollection that I could bench 105 or something along those lines back in high school when I participated in weight lifting class. I ended up getting a 1rm of 115lbs that day! I was pretty excited about that. The push-up program Nick had set up for me clearly paid off. Later that day, Nick told me he was kind of impressed with how much I could bench. Boderline shocked, even. Woo, go me! So wall balls= the suck but bench= not so bad.
